It's been awhile since I've posted a "5 Favorites..." blog entry. So, here we go...these are my five favorite from the Summer of 2016, all taken with my newly acquired Fuji film X-Pro2. As for the camera itself, which now replaces my beloved XT1, I'd say my favorite features are the OFV, Speed, Sound, Dual Card slots, and overall feel/handling...and of course, image quality and larger file size. I'm sure I could come up with a list of small complaints, but the primary one is the smaller EVF size compared to XT1. Other than that, I'm good with new X-Pro2 and will NOT be ordering XT2. And for my favorite five...

The small size of the X-Pro2 (vs. my old Canon) makes it an easy travel companion. I was glad to have it on hand to capture this seen while travelling in Ohio. Love the prime colors and and overall whimsical nature of this. X-Pro2, 1/90s, f/10, ISO …

This image of my younger daughter captures the feeling of Summer just perfectly for me. This is a great example of when I use OVF - it allowed me to see around my daughter and feel more "connected" to the seen.  X-Pro2, 1/2200s, f/1.4, ISO…

Definitely, one of my favorites this year. I've added this image to my "Airports" portfolio. It was a well timed shot from LAX Terminal 3, I believe. X-Pro2, 1/210s, F/5.6, 35mm Prime.

Okay, this this is more than one shot...but, I will allow it. The focus isn't perfect. But, the mood and feeling are right on. Again, taken with OVF which creates a much more connected feeling. XPro2, 1/60s, f/1.4, ISO 1600, 23mm prime.

Just a "grab shot" while staying in Chicago. But, still, one of my favorites this summer. Xpro2, 1/30s, f/5.6, 23mm. Not bad for hand held.

Finally, shot of Cody. I like this shot because of the overhead perspective, which was created with help from the great Fuji remote camera app. X-Pro2, 1/60s, f/1.4, ISO 400, 23mm prime.
